House Resolution 116 — Concerning Victims of Communism Day.

WHEREAS, More than 100 years have passed since the Bolshevik revolution in Russia and the formation of the first communist government under Vladimir Lenin, resulting in decades of oppression and violence of the people under the regimes. communist degrees around the world: and

WHEREAS, through false promises of equality and liberation, or through coercion, brutality, and fear, communist regimes have robbed their people of their own right to freedom, liberty, and religion. religion, freedom of speech and freedom of association; and
